A shark warning has been issued for Mangles Bay in Rockingham after a kayaker was bumped multiple times.
The interaction was reported by a member of the public around 3.15pm on Sunday.
"A reported two metre unknown species of shark bumped a kayak multiple times. This has been confirmed by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD)," a DPIRD spokesperson said.
People are being urged to be extra cautious in the Mangles Bay area.
