Police are hunting an arsonist who set two cars on fire at a home in Port Kennedy.
The offender can be seen on CCTV at the property on Clipper Drive around 2.45am on Sunday, October 26.
The person then used some form of accelerant to set alight a Nissan Patrol parked in the home’s carport, and a Ford Courier utility parked in the front yard.
The offender fled on foot and was last seen running towards Warnbro Sound Avenue.
Firefighters attended and were able to extinguish the flames before it spread to nearby homes.
Arson Squad officers urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity, in the vicinity of Clipper Drive and Warnbro Sound Avenue in Port Kennedy between 2.30am and 3am on Sunday, October 26, or who has any information relating to this incident, to contact Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000.
Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
