The Pyjama Foundation is a not-for-profit and was founded in 2004 to give children living in out of home care the opportunity to change the direction of their lives with learning, life skills, and confidence.
We train volunteers called ‘Pyjama Angels’ who act as a friend and learning mentor to a child in care for one hour a week. We support children in foster care, kinship care, and residential care.
If you'd like to help, even a small donation can make a big difference. Around $30 helps provide new books for a child in care, while $58 buys educational games and learning resources. Every dollar goes towards helping children build confidence, life skills and a love of learning through The Pyjama Foundation's mentoring program.
