Registration are now open and close at 5pm on Thursday, September 10th.
There’s new royal clarification around Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
King Charles has made it clear they are not working royals, despite having moved back to the UK with their children. A letter sent on the King’s behalf says the couple will remain private citizens, with their charitable and commercial interests, and any official-looking engagements will be carried out in a private capacity. They also still can’t use the HRH titles. So... it sounds like the Palace is making very sure everyone knows exactly where Harry and Meghan stand.
Netflix has just dropped the first look at East of Eden, the new adaptation of John Steinbeck’s classic novel, starring Florence Pugh.
It’s a seven-part series, with Pugh playing the fascinating and pretty terrifying Cathy Ames, alongside Christopher Abbott and Mike Faist.
It’s created by Zoe Kazan, whose grandfather directed the famous 1955 movie version, and it hits Netflix October 1st.
So... if you like your period dramas with a little family dysfunction and psychological darkness, this one is for you.
