After a successful 2020 event, Port Bouvard SLSC are pleased to announce the Cut to Club Open Water Swim is back, to be held on January 16, 2021!

This challenging 3.5km course takes entrants along the Dawesville Channel (The Cut) from the Mandurah Estuary into the open ocean, around the southern groyne, past 'The Wedge' (renowned surf break) to finish on Pyramids Beach outside the recently upgraded clubhouse.

For those competitors that are a little less adventurous there will be a shorter 2.25km course available which will see swimmers leave the Cut before reaching the ocean, adjacent to the finish point.

As this 2021 event will coincide with an SLSWA approved youth Carnival on the same day (16 Jan) also being hosted by the Port Bouvard SLSC, we will also be incorporating a SLSA Board Paddle Event event for those wishing to challenge themselves with a long paddle.

The event is building upon the previous success and is destined to become a pillar of the South West's Open Water Swim Season with the stunning location, the challenge, the rare opportunity to swim through this amazing waterway being sure to attract both seasoned and competitive swimmers alike.

With a strictly limited numbers of entrants, be sure to register early and secure your place in new and iconic event.
