From Thursday 13th to Sunday 16 January, the Mandurah Readers and Writers Festival, an annual adult literature event presented by City of Mandurah Library & Heritage Services is on!

The aim of the festival is to foster a love of reading and literature and encourage creativity in our community. This year, the festival brings an array of established and emerging storytellers from WA and across Australia including:

David Petale-Allan, Sue Boyd, Stella Budrikis, Alan Carter, Lisa Ellery, Alex Forrest, Sara Foster, Mel Hall, Karen Herbert, Kathy Heys, Pol Koutsakis, Natasha Lester, Barry Nicholls, Maria Papas, Tim Richards, Sally Scott, Leigh Straw, Josephine Taylor, David Whish-Wilson and Emma Young.

The free to attend, three-day festival program includes author talks and panel discussions

Join their Summer Big Read Book club and enjoy High Tea with their featured authors – Sara Foster, Pol Koutsakis and David Whish-Wilson.
