On Tuesday 13th April, Youth Focus and the Young Men’s Project is launching M8D8!
M8D8 is a new initiative encouraging young men in the Peel region to take a mate on a date in an effort to curb the devastatingly high number of males taking their own lives.
The launch event will be held at the Peel Health Hub on Allnutt Street, Mandurah from 4pm to 7pm, with free burgers and beats, as well as food trucks, coffee and community sports.
Fremantle Dockers defender and Youth Focus ambassador Alex Pearce will also be there!
Shoot some hoops. Grab a burger. Kick a footy. Have a game of pool.
Taking a M8 on a D8 and having a conversation can be all that’s needed to bring a friend out of a dark place.
M8D8 celebrates young men connecting in the simplest of ways for the greatest of reasons.
