Tenacious D has cancelled the rest of their Australian and New Zealand Spicy Meatball Tour – due to a controversial comment made by Kyle Gass on stage at their Sydney show on Sunday night.

The 'joke' has sparked massive outrage, with Senator Babet claiming Gass 'wished for the death of a former President' and called for the pair’s visas to be revoked.

Black has since said h e "no longer felt it was appropriate to continue the tour ", in a statement on social media on Tuesday night.
