Mandurah Detectives have charged two males over the alleged assault of an 87-year-old Dudley Park man.
Five males were taken into custody on Monday, and two have since been charged with offences relating to the incident.
A 13-year-old male from Greenfields and a 19-year-old male from South Headland have been charged with aggravated home burglary, aggravated grievous bodily harm, and aggravated robbery.
Police will allege the males broke into the home on Denham Street on March 18 and assaulted the 87-year-old homeowner before stealing property from his home.
The man is still recovering in hospital with serious injuries.
They are both due to appear in court today.
