The City of Rockingham is considering to introduce time limits at selected street parking zones within the Rockingham Commercial Precinct.
The locations include McNicholl Street, Market Street, Chalgrove Avenue and Goddard Street.
"We have conducted preliminary site inspections of these streets which suggested the availability of parking and the turnover rate of bays was inhibited by the lack of parking time limits. This in turn directly impacts people's ability to access the amenities in the area," a City of Rockingham spokesperson said.
The City is looking at introducing two hour parking limits Monday to Sunday, 8am to 6pm.
Residents are encouraged to have their say on whether they support or oppose the the time limit parking by Wednesday May 19.
