A Cooloongup man has come forward to claim a $774,000 Division One Lotto prize.
The man, aged in his 40s, purchased the Slikpik 18 ticket from Waikiki Village Newsagency for last Saturday's draw.
“I only started playing Lotto six months ago, but I’ll keep playing as it seems like a pretty easy experience,” the winner joked.
“I just came back from a fishing trip, so perhaps a more extensive trip is on the cards.”
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said the flurry of wins could be a sign WA is in for a record breaking week
“Powerball has jackpotted to $110 million, this is record breaking territory,” Mr Mooney said
