Over $4000 was raised as Crab Fest's original painting found a new home.
The original painting was sold for $4200 at the Mandurah Crab Fest last weekend.
Artist Emma Blyth was thrilled to have raised the much-needed funds.
"All proceeds go to Mandurah Primary School for uniforms, stationary, excursions and school activities that some families may not be able to fund themselves," she said.
The painting went to local business owners of Aluminium Plus WA.
"[They] were so happy to get the final winning bid in and for the funds to be helping local students," Ms Blyth said.
"We have now raised over $22,000 over the years for charities and community groups through the Crab Fest artworks."
Ms Blyth has held workshops with students at Mandurah Primary School and says it was an "awesome experience" to be able to donate locally.
