Dawesville man charged with 38 child sex offences

A Dawesville man has been charged with a series of alleged child sex offences following an extensive investigation by Mandurah Detectives.

The 34-year-old man is alleged to have used social media apps and phone text messaging to groom several young girls aged between 12 and 15.

He then allegedly arranged to meet them in person before sexually assaulting them.

The alleged offences happened between 2022 and 2025.

The man has been charged with 59 offences, 38 of those relating to the sexual abuse of children.

These include six counts of sexually penetrating a child over 13 and under 16, eight counts of intent to procure a person under 16 for sexual activity and 14 counts of offering to sell or supply a prohibited drug to another.

He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
