The Fremantle Dockers have extended their deepest sympathies to the family of Hayden Ballantyne after his brother was killed on Saturday night.
Brendan Ballantyne, 22, was walking along Ennis Avenue in Waikiki around 9.15pm when he was struck by a Holden Adventra.
He received life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.
In a statement, Brendan's family said he will be dearly missed.
"He was a very loved family member engaged to be married soon, a father of a beautiful two-year-old with a baby girl on the way,” read the statement.
The Fremantle Dockers said their "thoughts are with the Ballantyne family at this extremely difficult time".
