Two dogs have died and their owner seriously injured after a crash in the South West.
A man, aged in his 40s, was driving a Holden Commodore on Caves Road in Yallingup around 1am on Sunday when it is believed he lost control and collided with several trees.
The impact of the crash caused the car to split into numerous pieces, with some landing about 25-50m away from each other.
The driver suffered serious head injures and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
Tragically, the man's two dogs were found deceased at the scene.
