A 40-year-old woman has been charged over an alleged crash in Safety Bay that has left a teenage boy with serious injuries.
Police say a group of youths were allegedly riding unregistered motorcycles along Georgetown Drive around 5.35pm on Tuesday when the driver of a Suzuki Grand Vitara was allegedly "involved in an incident with the rider of a blue Yamaha off-road motorcycle".
That incident allegedly led to the rider losing control and crashing.
The driver of the Grand Vitara stopped and called emergency services.
The 16-year-old male rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital.
A 40-year-old woman from Safety Bay has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
She is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on October 6.
