A driver has been hospitalised after a concrete block was thrown through his car windscreen in Mandurah.
Bill Wells was travelling along Mandurah Road near the Mandurah Train Station when a rock struck him around 9.35pm on Monday.
He was one of at least two people affected by people throwing rocks, and told Nine News Perth he would "be in a morgue" if the block had hit him a few centimetres to the right.
"I was driving to work night and there was a rock on the road and I went on the other side to avoid that rock and next minute another one came through the window and hit me on the left hand shoulder, felt like a bomb going off," he said.
"I just clutched my shoulder straight away and pulled off to the side of the road."
An 18-year-old P-plater had also been targeted on Monday at the same place.
There has been an increase of locals reporting this type of incident online, around the pedestrian bridge at the train station.
No one has been charged, but anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
