The South Metropolitan Health Service has reported that the hospital has suffered an ICT outage and has reverted to manual procedures.
A statement from the South Metropolitan Health Service says:
"Patients safety remains our priority and we continue to care for our patients.
We continue to provide surgery, outpatients and emergency care, but delays can be expected.
We do ask that people only come to FSH if it is an emergency.
We can still deliver imaging, pathology tests and medications.
Our ICT teams are working hard to fix the situation.
An update will be provided at 12.00 noon."
