A 31-year-old man has been charged over an alleged hit-and-run crash in Rockingham.
The driver allegedly hit a man with his car around 3.10am on Saturday before leaving the scene.
Police later found the victim with serious head injuries near Read Street and Rae Road.
He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle later returned to the scene.
The Halls Head man has now been charged with failing to stop and ensure assistance after an incident occasioning grievous bodily harm.
He is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on April 1.
