A FIFO worker from Greenfields is now $740,000 richer after cashing in on a Saturday Lotto ticket he held in his pocket for close to a week.
The man in his 40s said he buys a ticket from the Mandurah Greenfields Newsagency everytime he flies home from work.
"I've had a hard year, so I'm in shock that something good has finally happened," he said.
"Nothing stood out for me the day i bought it. And I've been walking around with this thing in my wallet for a whole week, thank god I didn't lose it."
Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said there's still time to grab a ticket ahead of Saturday's draw.
"Western Australia is home to 52 Division One winner so far this year, 43 have come from Saturday Lotto." she said.
