A male in his 70's has been injured in a hit and run this morning.

An elderly man has been involved in a hit and run incident this morning in Halls Head.

The male in his 70's was riding his motorbike along Old Coast Road near Bunnings when he was hit by a car just before 9:15am.

The vehicle is believed to have driven off without stopping.

The male has been taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious leg injuries.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers.
