Police are continuing their hunt for a man who approached multiple houses in Greenfields armed with a machete.
The man was captured on a doorbell camera at the front door of a home on Waldron Boulevard around 7.45pm on Saturday, July 19.
Speaking on 7NEWS, homeowner Dianna Shamley said her young daughter was the first to notice the armed man.
“She was busy playing games but she said to me there was a human view alert on my phone so I said give it to me and I saw this guy who actually walked up to our front door with a machete,” she told 7NEWS.
“A lot of fear, a lot of fear. It felt like my heart was beating out of my chest because it’s just that idea, what was the intent?
“It is frightening because I feel like I have to get more security in my own home and that’s not nice.”
Police say the man also approached other homes along Waldron Boulevard.
He is described as having a dark complexion and aged in his mid-20s.
The man was wearing a baseball cap and all black clothing, with white stripes on the sleeves of his hooded jumper.
