One man is in custody following a high speed police chase through suburbs of Rockingham this morning.
Police say the pursuit started when a white utility failed to stop in Rockingham.
Officers were forced to abandon the chase due to safety reasons, but the vehicle was later found abandoned on Penson Way in Singleton.
The two occupants fled on foot.
Police were able to capture one man who is now in custody, the other has evaded arrest.
