A 47-year-old man has been charged after allegedly murdering his elderly parents in the South West town of Capel.
Robert George Dent was arrested at a home on Berkshire Street on Friday, September 24, after police discovered the bodies of Colin and Bernice Dent inside.
The accused was taken to Bunbury Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
He appeared via video link from Bunbury to the Perth Magistrates Court today.
The 47-year-old was refused bail and will reappear in court on September 29.
