Police have charged a man as a result of an investigation into three armed robberies in January and February.
The first robbery was at a supermarket on Arnisdale Road in Duncraig on Monday January 21.
It is alleged the man was armed with a knife.
The second robbery was at the same Duncraig supermarket on Monday January 28.
It is alleged the man was armed with a screwdriver.
The third robbery was at a supermarket on Birchwood Avenue in Woodlands on Friday February 8.
It is alleged the man was armed with a knife.
A 23-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with several offences:
- Three counts of armed robbery
- One count of possessing a prohibited drug
- One count of possessing drug paraphernalia
- One count of disorderly conduct in a police station
He will appear at the Perth Magistrates Court today.
