A man has died after crashing his hang glider into a paddock in the Wheatbelt.
The 50-year-old man was practising for the WA Hang Gliding Championships when he crashed near the intersection of Logan and Warralakin Road about 50km north east of Merredin around 4pm on Saturday.
Merredin Police in conjunction with the Hang Gliding Federation of Australia will investigate the cause of the crash.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
