Rockingham Detectives are investigating an incident that occurred in Rockingham between 11pm on Wednesday 11 May and 12.30am Thursday 12 May 2022.
50-year-old man was walking through the pedestrian underpass from the shopping centre on Council Avenue when he was assaulted by two unknown men. The offenders stole some cash and a packet of cigarettes from the victim before fleeing.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Rockingham Hospital and treated for facial injuries, including a fractured nose and possible orbital fracture.
Several people were in the area at the time and police wish to speak to anyone who saw the incident. Investigators also wish to speak to the man pictured, who they believe can assist them with this investigation.
