A man has been arrested after allegedly leading police on a chase through several southern suburbs.
The 22-year-old was allegedly driving a stolen white Holden Commodore around 11.50pm on Monday when he failed to stop for officers in Kwinana.
He allegedly sped through Leda, Rockingham and Safety Bay before the Commodore came to a stop on Ennis Avenue in Warnbro due to a mechanical failure.
Police took the driver into custody.
The Greenfields man has been charged with stealing a motor vehicle, failing to stop, reckless driving, failing to provide a sample of breath for a roadside alcohol test and no authority to drive.
He will appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
