The man, who faded in and out of consciousness, suffered a cut and grazes to his face.
He was treated by St John Ambulance paramedics at the scene.
One offender is described as being approximately 190cms tall, dark skinned, with a solid build, black short curly hair and a scar on his neck.
He was wearing a black shirt, shorts, gloves and a mask.
The second offender is described as being fair skinned, approximately 160cm tall, with black hair and a spider tattoo on his arm.
He was wearing a Maroons NRL singlet and black shorts.
