Man robbed, bashed in front of family at Greenfields park

A man has been bashed and robbed in front of his family at Bortolo Park in Greenfields.

The victim was with his girlfriend and son in the barbeque area next to the playground and pavilion around 5.20pm on Thursday, November 9 when he was approached by two men.

"It is alleged one of the offenders asked the man for a cigarette and when the victim declined, he was struck to the face by fists and a metal pole," a WA Police spokesperson said.

"The offenders stole various items from the victim before fleeing on foot and were last seen running towards the Greenfields Family and Community Centre."

The man, who faded in and out of consciousness, suffered a cut and grazes to his face.

He was treated by St John Ambulance paramedics at the scene.

One offender is described as being approximately 190cms tall, dark skinned, with a solid build, black short curly hair and a scar on his neck.  

He was wearing a black shirt, shorts, gloves and a mask. 

The second offender is described as being fair skinned, approximately 160cm tall, with black hair and a spider tattoo on his arm.  

He was wearing a Maroons NRL singlet and black shorts.
