A man has been sentenced to life in prison for murdering his former partner in her Mandurah home.
The body of 19-year-old Christine D'Cruz was found in her Aldgate Street property on New Year's Eve in 2017.
Her 26-year-old partner, Junior Fayiah Carlos, was arrested at the scene, and pleaded guilty to her murder in July 2019.
The couple had a baby girl who was just weeks old at the time.
Carlos appeared in the WA Supreme Court on Thursday, and was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 19 years.
