The Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest is returning in 2023.
After a three-year break due to the impacts of COVID-19, Mandurah’s signature event will burst back onto the scene on March 18 and 19, 2023.
Mayor Rhys Williams said Mandurah is thrilled to see the much-loved Crab Fest return.
“This has been an exceptionally positive year for Mandurah so far. We saw the completion of our Waterfront redevelopment, have been recognised as WA’s Top Tourism Town, and of course the iconic Giants of Mandurah exhibition. To continue this momentum, we are very pleased to announce the return of Crab Fest in 2023,” Mayor Williams said.
“Crab Fest is part of Mandurah’s DNA. It not only provides an opportunity to celebrate all the parts of our city that we love, but importantly, provides a strong economic boost to our local hospitality and tourism operators. We’re feeling very proud to see the return of this event next year.”
Crab Fest will include the return of festival fun and activities for all ages, authentic food experiences, live music, and special ticketed events, all held on Mandurah’s stunning waterfront spaces.
Highlights of the 2023 Crab Fest include a Main Stage with headline acts, family entertainment, workshops and displays, a Kids’ Zone with a dedicated Children’s Stage, themed zones, and a smorgasbord of pop-up food stalls with delicious options for everyone.
The 2023 Crab Fest footprint will stretch from the City Centre and along Mandurah’s Eastern Foreshore, to Mandjar Square and over to the Mandurah Ocean Marina.
