Locals are being encouraged to vote for Mandurah in this year's Top Tourism Town Awards.
The town has again been nominated after taking out the top honour in 2022.
Visit Mandurah is now calling on the community to vote for their town.
Visit Mandurah General Manager Anita Kane said she was delighted that the team’s submission had been shortlisted again and hopes Mandurah can follow last year’s success when the city was crowned Top Tourism Town 2022.
“With magnificent beaches, spectacular waterways, great foodie scene and year-round events calendar, Mandurah is the perfect holiday destination,” Ms Kane said.
“We want to see this recognized and would be absolutely delighted to see Mandurah again crowned Top Tourism Town. However, we need votes to make happen.
“Voting results will account for 25 per cent of Mandurah’s overall score so I urge everyone to head to toptourismtown.com.au and cast your vote. It’s quick and easy and by doing so, you’ll be entered into a draw to win a $5,000 WA travel voucher or $550 to spend at any RAC Park or Resort."
The 7NEWS Top Tourism Town Awards recognise and reward towns in Western Australia that demonstrate a strong commitment to encouraging tourism and increasing visitation to the destination.
Mandurah is up against Collie and Geraldton in the race to take out the award for a second year.
