The City of Mandurah has announced a huge line-up of festivities over the Christmas period.

The Mandurah Christmas program will kick off on Friday, November 28 with the City of Mandurah Christmas Pageant.

Starting at 6pm, more than 30 decorated floats, dancers and marching bands will make their way along Mandurah Terrace, starting and finishing at the Cooper Street/Mandurah Terrace intersection.

The best viewing locations will be along Mandurah Terrace, Tuckey Street, Smart Street Mall and Eastern Foreshore grassed areas.

From Friday, November 28, the Mandurah Christmas Lights Trail will light up the night.

The state’s biggest Christmas lights trail, more than 35 sparkling installations will be spread throughout the City Centre and Mandurah Ocean Marina with some featuring audio descriptions and augmented reality experiences.

The ever-popular lights trail includes favourites such as candy canes, Christmas trees, giant reindeer, stars, and a festive train, plus new additions including a 6m giant Santa on a present, Summer Santa Biscuit, and a helicopter.

The Christmas Lights Trail can be enjoyed up until Sunday, January 4, 2026.

There’s also a range of free family friendly activities and events on offer in the City Centre throughout December including kids’ activities, live music, Christmas Markets, silent discos, outdoor movies, and photos with Santa.

On Saturday, December 13, popular Australian singer/songwriter Conrad Sewell will bring a special performance to the Mandurah Christmas Carols in the Park event on the Western Foreshore.

From 6pm, enjoy an evening of community celebrations including singalong carols by candlelight, family activities and a variety of food trucks, overlooking the Peel Harvey Estuary.

The community can once again welcome the new year in style with two fireworks displays (9pm and midnight) on December 31.

There will also be a special outdoor movie screening at 7pm on the Eastern Foreshore before the fireworks.

Mayor Amber Kearns welcomed all locals and visitors to enjoy the wonder of Mandurah Christmas, with festivities kicking off this month.

“Christmas time in Mandurah really brings out the best of who we are as a community, with a sense of joy and connection that spreads through the whole community,” Mayor Kearns said.

“This year’s program is about creating free, inclusive experiences for everyone. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or you’ve lived here your whole life, I want people to feel welcomed, connected, and proud of our city.

“A big thank you to all our partners and supporters for helping us bring the magic of Christmas to life again this year. I can’t wait to see our community come together and enjoy everything Mandurah has to offer.”
