The Mandurah Rotary Club is urging people to get behind their campaign to stop Ice usage in the community.
They have partnered with the Australian Anti Ice Campaign (AAIC) to present the Mandurah Walk Against Ice event, to be held on Sunday September 15.
The AAIC's mission is to expose Ice for what is really is a - a poisonous concoction of chemicals that will eventually and often rapidly, destroy the mental and physical health of those who use it.
The walk in Mandurah aims to raise awareness of the drug, and funds for a program to be taught by the AAIC in Mandurah schools.
There will be speakers from Rotary and community representatives, as well as a sausage sizzle and drinks.
