Mandurah's Crab Fest featured on Nescafé Blend 43 tins

Mandurah's very own Crab Fest has been featured on limited edition 1kg tins of Nescafé Blend 43.

As part of its 'Celebrate Australia' campaign, Nestlé Professional chose Mandurah and its iconic Crab Fest to be illustrated on the tins.

“The renowned Mandurah Crab Fest was chosen to feature on our new tins as it represents an incredible display of community spirit. Even when the festival was cancelled due to COVID-19, the locals supported the small businesses who would have taken part, placing orders to keep their
businesses going," Nestlé Professional Oceania General Manager Scott Stuckmann said.

"Just as a cup of Nescafé Blend 43 brings people together to connect, we want to celebrate community events that do the same.”

As part of the celebration of Aussie community spirit and stories, Nestlé Professional has donated $5000 to the Rotary Club of Mandurah Districts to help support a local initiative.

President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Mandurah Districts Michael Boyd said the funds will be used to support the Mandurah Rotary Community Family Fun Day and Duck Race held on Easter Saturday.

“We are thrilled to receive this donation from Nestlé Professional to help strengthen areas of our community," Mr Boyd said.

"This donation will be used to support our Family Fun Day and Duck Race, a free local event that brings together over 10,000 people to celebrate family and community.

"The event will help to raise funds for local community groups that go on to support a wide range of services in Mandurah,” Mr Boyd said.

Alongside the donation, Nestlé Professional has gifted the Rotary Club of Mandurah Districts with 384 limited-edition Nescafé Blend 43 Mandurah tins, which the club will sell or donate to the local community, with any profits retained by the club.

The ‘Celebrate Community Spirit’ collection by Nestlé Professional showcases six Australian towns each with a unique story to tell about their community spirit.

Three towns are featured on 1kg tins of Nescafé Blend 43: Alice Springs, Boorowa and Mandurah.

Another three towns, Charters Towers, Burnie, and Geelong are displayed on 1.9kg tins of Milo.

A variety of the tins of Nescafé Blend 43 and Milo featuring the six Aussie towns are available to buy from wholesale office and foodservice distributors including Bidfood, Countrywide, PFD, Campbells, Winc, Officeworks, COS and Blackwoods (Nescafé Blend 43 1kg RRP $55; Milo 1.9kg RRP $30).
