Nominations are now open for the City of Mandurah Sports Awards 2019.
The awards aim to honour local sports people, volunteers and clubs who are based in, or have a strong connection to Mandurah, and have achieved sporting success.
It also aims to recognise those who have made a significant contribution to sport and recreation throughout the year.
Mayor Rhys Williams is encouraging the community to nominate those who have made a difference.
“Sport is such a vital ingredient to a happy, healthy and connected community,” Mayor Williams said.
“Mandurah is lucky to have a thriving and active sporting community, and many dedicated people who are passionate about making sport great.
“This is our chance to thank our sporting superstars, highlight their achievements and recognise their valuable contribution to our community.”
