A man has died after being hit by a car in Waikiki.
A silver 2006 Holden Adventra station wagon was travelling north on Ennis Avenue near Safety Bay Road around 9.15pm on Saturday night when it struck the 22-year-old man.
He received life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.
A 47-year-old Waikiki man has been charged with careless driving occasioning death.
He will appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on October 22.
Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the Holden prior to, or at the time of the crash.
