Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash in Collie.
A group of eight young males were driving a purple Volvo 960 sedan in bushland off Collie-Williams Road on August 3, 2019.
At around 9.30am, the 17-year-old male driver failed to negotiate a left-hand bend, losing control of the vehicle which struck a tree.
The driver and three of the occupants received minor injuries and were treated at Collie Hospital, while a 17-year-old passenger received serious spinal injuries and was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
The vehicle was bearing no registration plates, had been towed on a trailer to the area the day before.
Major Crash investigators are asking anyone who may have seen the purple Volvo prior to the crash, have dash-cam vision of the area on the day or who has any information, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
