A 25-year-old man has been charged after allegedly leading police on a pursuit that ended in Coodanup.
Police say a silver Mazda CX8 was stolen during a home burglary in North Fremantle between 9.20pm on Saturday and 7.15am on Sunday.
Around 11.30am on Sunday, the car was spotted by police in Mt Pleasant.
Officers tried to stop the vehicle but the driver allegedly sped off, leading them on a chase through Fremantle, Cannington, Armadale and Mandurah police districts.
A tyre deflation device was then successfully deployed as the Mazda travelled northbound on the Forrest Highway.
It eventually came to a stop on Streerforth Drive in Coodanup.
A 25-year-old Wickepin man was arrested and has been charged with a string of driving and stealing offences.
He appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court today and was remanded in custody to reappear on February 26.
