Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a baby being left in a car in Armadale on Wednesday.
At around 4.25pm, a 35-year-old man drove to the Armadale Shopping Centre on Jull Street and parked in the undercover car park.
It is alleged the man left his three-month-old boy in a child seat in the car with the front window slightly open.
Around 4.35pm, a member of the public heard the baby crying and opened a door to allow air into the vehicle before calling police.
Police then removed the baby who felt quite hot and called an ambulance with the baby being conveyed to hospital.
It is alleged the man did not return to his vehicle until just before 5pm.
The man will appear in court at a later date.
