Police are investigating a scrub fire in Peron.
The fire started in a reserve area adjacent to Rockingham Lakes Regional Park near the intersection of Lease Road and Memorial Drive about 9.10pm on Saturday, January 17.
Luckily, firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze before it spread into further bushland.
Strike Force Vulcan officers wish to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the fire.
