A man has been charged with allegedly murdering an 82-year-old man in Orelia.
Police were called to a house on Barron Way around 12.30pm on Wednesday February 6 after the man was found injured by his carer.
He was rushed to Fiona Stanley Hospital by ambulance, but died later that night.
After an investigation by Homicide Squad detectives and a forensic examination of the man's home, a 59-year-old man from Orelia, known to the victim, was charged with murder.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
