A police pursuit has come to a crashing end in East Rockingham.
Police say a silver Audi A3 sedan, bearing no registration plates, was spotted on Day Road about 1.35am on Wednesday, February 25.
Officers activated their emergency lights and sirens, signalling for the driver to stop, but the accused allegedly drove away at high speed.
A short time later, the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into bushland at the intersection of Mandurah Road.
The accused driver, a 45-year-old woman, was arrested at the scene.
She was taken to Rockingham Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The Brookdale woman has been charged with failing to stop, reckless driving to escape pursuit by police, failing to correctly affix and display a number plate on a vehicle, no authority to drive (never held a licence) and two counts of possessing a prohibited drug.
She has been bailed to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court at a later date.
