A police pursuit has ended in Shoalwater.
Officers allegedly tried to stop a Holden Commodore on Warnbro Sound Avenue in Secret Harbour around 6.10pm on Sunday.
Police allege the driver sped off and drove through several suburbs, at one point colliding with a Nissan Patrol at the intersection of Malibu Road and Safety Bay Road.
It then continued down Safety Bay Road before losing three tyres, eventually coming to a stop at a shopping centre carpark in Shoalwater.
The driver allegedly ran from the vehicle but was arrested a short time later.
The 23-year-old man from Rockingham has been charged with failing to stop, reckless driving to escape pursuit, property damage and no authority to drive.
He will appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on January 10.
