Police say there is "no evidence" that shots were fired on a Silver Sands street earlier this week.
Residents on Barwell Street reported hearing what sounded like gunshots around 7.20pm on Wednesday.
Witnesses told 7NEWS a car pulled up, an argument happened and then several shots were heard.
A WA Police spokeswoman said no evidence of the shooting was located in the area and there were no complaints of damage or similar made to police.
