Regional Operations Group officers are seeking any dash-cam, mobile phone or CCTV footage of a police chase through Baldivis around 12.30am on Monday.
It will be alleged police attempted to stop a 2012 white Holden Commodore on Bramall Terrace/Nairn Drive.
The stolen car then took off, ramming its way through a set of bollards.
With the tyres blown, the stolen vehicle stops outside a home on Branchton Loop, with the man taken into custody.
A 20-year-old Safety Bay man was charged with;
- Driver of a vehicle failed to comply with a direction to stop;
- Reckless driving in a confiscation zone to escape pursuit by police;
- Obstruct Police officer;
- Fail to Comply with Request to Give Police Personal Details;
- 2 x Possessed a prohibited weapon;
- Possessed a controlled weapon;
- Steal Motor Vehicle and Drive Recklessly;
- No authority to drive.
He appeared in court on Monday and will re-appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court February 24.
