Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred on Thursday 2 May 2019 in Coolup.
About 4pm, a white Ford Ranger utility was travelling south on South Western Highway when it crossed to the incorrect side of the road, left the highway and struck a tree on the western side of the road (opposite the roadhouse, approximately 1.2km north of Coolup Road East). The driver, an 18 year old woman, was the sole occupant and she died at the scene.
Major Crash Investigation Section would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the crash, has dashcam vision, or saw the Ford in the area prior to the crash.
