Police are seeking information after a 77-year-old man was critically injured in a crash on South Western Highway yesterday.
Police say the man was riding a white Honda motorcycle northbound on South Western Highway in Cookernup around 9.25am on Wednesday when he crashed into a metal barrier.
The force of the crash ejected the rider from his motorcycle, leaving him with critical injuries.
Bypassers stopped to provide first aid to the man before St John arrived and transported him to Harvey Hospital.
He was then airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or the motorcycle driving in the area to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
