After 2 weeks in Phase 2, Premier Mark McGowan has announced announced plans for Phase 3 amidst the AL Kuwait ship outbreak

As the state government embarks on increased COVID testing for essential workers with DETECT Snapshot, Premier Mark McGowan has announced plans for Phase 3 of COVID restrictions to be in place by June 6

Phase 3 will look to increase the maximum number of crowd gatherings and spacing requirements:

4sqm rule will be reduced to 2sqm
20 person occupancy limit will increase to 100 people in hospitality
Pubs will have alcohol served without meals but will still need to be seated
Beauticians, gyms, museums, cinemas, theatres and parks to re-open
